The Only Living Pickpocket In New York

<div>Harry (John Turturro) is a classic native New Yorker, a craftsman pickpocket from the old school who has moved through life lubricating palms with pickpocket cash since the 1980s. He works mainly on public transport, sells his spoils to his pawnbroker pal Ben (SteveBuscemi), and goes home to his Bronx apartment every night to look after his ailing spouse, Rosie. Harry adheres to a routine, operates alone, and doesn’t own a smartphone. He stays smooth, continually sharpening his skills, but times are changing for Harry. Now it’s 2025, and the daily take from the streets? Fancy trackable phones anc cashless wallets full of easily-cancellable credit cards.&nbsp; When Harry unwittingly purloins and fences a valuable USB stick, Harry finds himself in a race against time to return the loot or face the rage of a vengeful crime family.</div><div><br></div><div>Anchored by an all-too-rare lead performance from John Turturro, the latest from writer-director Noah Segan (Blood Relatives) combines low-key crime drama with a meditation on changing times.</div><div><br></div>DramaPT1H28MCTC
