The eccentric fantasy artist and dancer will be celebrated with the debut screening of The Night Flower, Mantis and the Prayer’s visual art piece and latest single. To add to this experience Mantis and the Prayer and Vardos will be playing live music sets filled with colour, light, remembrance and otherworldly surrealism. To open the show there will be a very special screening of Director Ruth Cullen's Painted Lady. Painted Lady is the sequel to the acclaimed documentary The Tightrope Dancer which introduced Vali Myers to Australian audiences. Formed in Perth 1993 by violinist Alana Hunt, Vardos relocated to Naarm Melbourne late last century and have played throughout Australia and toured internationally, most recently Europe 2025.
